Trey Guinn, Field Technologist, Office of the CTO, Cloudflare

As Cloudflare’s field technologist and a senior member of the CTO’s team, Trey is a technology advisor for Cloudflare customers, partners, and industry peers.

Trey joined Cloudflare in 2013, as the company’s first Solutions Engineer, pioneering the role of working hand in hand on technology solutions design and implementation with Cloudflare’s Enterprise sales team. He led the definition of the Solutions Engineering function, values, and team structures and scaled a global team of more than 140 engineers focused on pre-sales, onboarding, and the post-sales technical success of Cloudflare’s Enterprise customers. Trey is part of the company’s leadership team, helping to launch and then grow the Enterprise business to over $500M in annual revenue.

Before Cloudflare, Trey was an Enterprise Architect for KPMG International. He studied Computer Science at Trinity University and Computer Science and Philosophy at Texas State University.
